The family life for Christians functions differently than family life for nonreligious families or families of other faiths. The Christian family is much more than the nuclear family of husband, wife, children; and it’s more than just marriage, singleness, and parenting. In reality, the Christian family life, is a dynamic combination of the biological and spiritual interaction that creates the church, also known as the body of Christ.

Our lives are shaped by conflict. Some might enjoy conflict too much, while others might avoid it altogether, but we all need to learn more faith-based, biblical ways of addressing the inevitable conflicts in our lives. In this series, Pastor Pender, will look into how to alleviate conflict in the areas of home, church, and work, referencing biblical resources for seeking reconciliation and wholeness in these relationships.

We are living between two advents: the incarnation and the second coming of Jesus. This series explores how we should live in this “in-between.” How do we live in light of Jesus’s ministry while waiting for his expected return?
